Programming since the age of 12, Christy Gurga specializes in front-end web site construction using W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS.
Christy graduated from the Visual Communication Technology program at Bowling Green State University, concentrating in Interactive Media and Graphic Design. As part of her studies, she completed internships in a variety of multimedia fields such as video production, advertising, and graphic design for print and web. Before starting with theMechanism, Christy worked as a graphic designer in Australia, where she created illustrations for Cambridge University Press.
Raised outside of Chicago, Christy is getting to know her way around New York City and spends her free time catching up on blogs, playing the keyboard and watching LOST.
