Oliver is technical director at theMechanism - London where he manages all aspects of .NET development and the delivery of Microsoft-based, bespoke applications (Web sites, intranets, extranets and desktop software) for clients worldwide.

Oliver has enhanced open source .NET Ajax libraries to incorporate theMechanism's bespoke user interface and validation techniques into all application builds. Further, Oliver developed a suite of object oriented modules and applications used across a wide range of client deliverables.

A dual-national (British and South African), Oliver studied Information Systems at the University of Cape Town and while preparing for his MCSD.net certification, he lectured students on Systems Development and Programming techniques at the Durban Institute of Technology before moving to London in 2003.

In his spare time, Oliver surfs the remote breaks of South East Asia and snowboards the powder-covered mountains of Europe.
