Sandra Perez is theMechanism’s Business Manager. She has been involved in the business community for eight years with the past four years experience in professional service companies. Her knowledge of business operations allows her to take on functional roles in Finance, Human Resources, and Office Management.
Sandra’s background includes working at the online news department of an international publishing company. Her corporate alma mater, where she spent three years, continues to lead in industrial online media. As theMechanism’s Business Manager, she assists in day-to-day operations while managing financial and human resources responsibilities.
As a member of theMechanism, Sandra believes in the power of ‘team collaboration’ and adheres to a Professional Code of Ethics. At heart, she is a social entrepreneur who aims to be involved in socially responsible ventures and multidisciplinary research. She supports gender and ethnic diversity in the workplace and enjoys learning about management theory as well as industrial organizational psychology.
As an active member of the business community, Sandra is frequently invited to participate in market research groups and supports the American Association of University Women (AAUW), National Writers Union (NWU), Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) and Project Management Institute (PMI).
Sandra has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and is currently working towards earning her graduate degree in Psychology.
