Background

Space.com / Imaginova met with the team from theMechanism and discussed the possibility of creating an engaging online interface, allowing visitors not only to build a unique robot, but also be able to e-mail it to a friend. The additional e-mail feature made the feature self-perpetuating, independent from any site promotion from the client.

Solution

theMechanism designed and executed a flawless Flash interface that resolved the clients project needs and added several additional features outside of the initial project brief. theMechanism also collaborated with Henry Rembert, a Brooklyn-based illustrator and designer to come up with the uniqe look-and-feel of the actual robots. In the end, the project became a tremendous success and surpassed the clients expectations when enabled on the site.
