RMP Software Logo Design
RMP Software required a complete re-envisioning of their overall identity. They called the folks at theMechanism to help.
Background
RMP Software approached theMechanism with the need to redesign and upgrade their logo for the young company.
Solution
theMechanism worked closely with the team at RMP to extract mood, company culture, product features and future aspirations to develop a unique logo for the evolving company that develops software solutions that integrate the core features of a Portal with the rich media management features of Document Asset Management. During the branding discussions, the idea of the software application representing a flowing, constantly improving entity was agreed upon.
Other words and phrases mentioned during the discussion to describe the company were: trusted, quality, professional, reliable, personal/friendly, stable, personal accessible, professional, reliable and dependable.
A logo based on slightly translucent liquid was designed over several weeks and sever iterations.
Words used to describe the company: water, clean, soft but enduring and stable.
It was determined that during our design process we thought about words such as: flow, automation, movement, smooth, sheen and clear.
