Background

After designing and developing a new Web site for SL Green, theMechansim turned their attention to building a database driven eFlyer system.

Solution

theMechansim designed a template, based on the design of the new Web site and built a database-driven eFlyer system, allowing the team at SL Green to build, preview, deploy and track eFlyers.

theMechansim identified that using a single database linked to the SL Green Web site would save time, resources and eliminate user error. Templates were designed, delivered and approved by the SL Green Marketing team and integrated into a fully customized email generation and deployment system built by theMechanism in New York.

The resulting system allows a novice Web user to log in to a password protected admin area on SL Green, fill out a form, choose a property, specify units and brokers, and organize the order with ease. Through the use of tracking mechanisms built into the email, the team at SL Green can track individuals who have opened each email, and track which properties, units and areas which are most popular with their subscribers.

The eFlyer system also automatically chooses and builds a template with either multiple units or a single unit, based on the number of units chosen by the person preparing the eFlyer.

Understanding that a large portion of the userbase would be using mobile devices to view the eFlyers, theMechanism built html and text only versions into the system.

Customized graphs displaying important data were deployed, giving the team at SL Green an easier read of individually built eFlyer success rates.
