XS Games is a leading publisher of Entertainment Software – through innovation, creation and distribution of original content – with a quality portfolio of game titles for PC, PlayStation, Game Cube and Xbox.

Solution

theMechanism was brought in to work with XS Games on building a new online presence. Our approach involved working closely with the founders of the New York City-based company, and interviewing their target audience to find out exactly what they wanted to see on a “gamers” website. The results include a non-intrusive flash interface, completely driven by xml calls to text and imagery, and a customized messageboard, allowing fan interaction with the company. As we built this site in early 2004, the site still makes use of tables for layout. We’ll rebuild it someday, but until then enjoy the tables.
